At night when I lay down it feels like everything is spinning?

Sometimes when I go to bed at night and close my eyes it feels like everything is spinning, like im on a ride or something. It happens quite often...does this happen to anyone else and what could be the cause of it?
Answer:
I assume you haven't been drinking when you experience the spinning.
Here's an experiment for you: stand up straight put your arms out to the side at shoulder height, then shut your eyes. If that makes you dizzy/ unsteady on your feet you may have an inner ear problem and should go to the doctor
Go to the doctor and get your blood pressure checked.
could be high blood pressure or a condition called vertigo. Tell your doctor about it because this condition sounds treatable.
Well, when you lie down, your blood pressure goes down and that could cause you giddiness. If this happens as you relax and before you fully go to sleep, it could be that your astral body is trying to come out of your physical body and you may be feeling disoriented and dizzy because of it. Or the pillow which you are using may be causing some pressure on your neck portion pressing upon some nerve.

Better to seek medical attention to rule out such possibilities and to get treated. If modern medicine is not suitable for you, try homeopathy.
Are you very sure your blood pressure is fine?? Has your doctor checked out the symptom with your blood pressure. Has he checked the blood pressure standing, sitting and laying down. The blood pressure can have a different reading in each position. (Maybe you knew this) (Although it usually drops when standing causing dizziness)
Could be ear problems. Could be fluid behind the eardrums changing positions When you change positions.
You need to tell a doctor these symptoms and let him check you out.
