Buy Soma Online?

Hello, do most people today prefer to buy soma online instead of buying it on traditional drug stores?

I just found a site that sells it online http://www.pillsless.com
Answer:
It is not a safe web-site.You don't know what other chemicals are in the Soma. I say Do Not trust these so-called web-sites. If you don't want to believe me.Ask your
doctor,or pharmacist,a friend who is in the medical field.
They will tell you the same thing thing.
Am I the only one who finds it creepy that the pill shares the same name with Brave New World's designer drug?

I guess life emulates fiction.

Butt question. Please answer. I'm worried?

I just need to know if this is normal. I really worry a lot and would just like an answer. please

I have hemerroids and when i used my medicine i noticed that after the tube like entrance to my butt, about 2 to 3 inches in there is like a wall and then the tube continues up. Is this normal?

I worry easily and I just need to know if the wall is normal. It is like 2 to 3 inches in and then it goes up. I looked for daigrams but i couldn't find anything usefull. can someone please answer.
Answer:
I answered in your other question as well...

You have two anal sphinters (rings of muscle), the inner and outer anal sphincters. The outer one we control voluntarily and the inner one is involuntary.

The inner one could very possibly be what you're feeling. When we give suppositories, we have to make sure they're in past the inner sphincter or they can easily come back out, the measurements you're discribing sound about right.

Here's a wiki link about the inner one:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/internal_an...

And the outer:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/external_an...
you shouldn't be going up that far!
Talk to your doctor. How do you except us to know?
You might have better luck in the gay/lesbain section. Seriously. I have never "poked around" back there.
DUDE I HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT UR *** PROBLEMS MAYBE ITS NOT NORMAL CUZ I THINK U HAVE DIAHRHEAA
listen to her she must now
It's probably the hemorrhoids. Have you been to the doc. to get it checked out? My boyfriend had one and it kinda looked like a wall. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you started bleeding. Still, I would see a doctor, they could probably be of more help.
Sounds like your rectum to me. :) I think your butt is normal.
Totally normal.
Err.. I'm not really a specialist.. but I don't think you should push it up that far. I guess it would be normal though.. Ask your doctor.
Stop worrying and stop fiddling with yourself or you will do yourself an Injury. If it helps see youre Doctor and tell him.
the tube doesn't need to be more that 2 to 3 inches in...the hemorrhoid cream applicator is only that long. You can go to a gastroenterologist if you are concerned about it. Or a proctologist.
You need to see your doctor for this. No one here can answer the question because it is too complicated.... Please see a doctor... If I were you I would not be asking help on the internet.
Not quite sure what you mean but I had really bad haemorrhoid's and IBS, had taken loads of meds/cream which didn't really work and finally saw a western herbalist (in desperation!) who sorted them out in a few months, despite my initial scepticism.

Feel free to e-mail me if you want details.

Butt Question. Answer Quickly please?

Ok
This is not meant to be gay or anything. I just have a concern and would like an answer.

When entering the butt, ill call it the tube, after passing the scipters or whatever they are does the tube continue upward.

so what im saying is does the "tube" go in a few inches and meet a wallish body form and then continue upwards?

I have hemerroids and one day i applied my cream with my finger because i lost the applicator (i bought a new one) and so i used my finger to apply it. I went in maybe 3-4 inches and noticed a wallish form and that the "tube" continues upward.

Is this normal?

What is the wallish thing?
Answer:
Yes it's normal. The large colon twists and turns before straightening for the big exit. This turn is one reason a regular colonoscopy can examine only the first four to six inches of the colon.
omfg f@g. thats what u deserve. penises belong in vaginas.

btw reported u for adult content!
Ok, I'm not entirely sure, but I think that's normal. Your intestines are connected to your colon so imagine that running up from the ...'tube'...is a very long rope all compressed to fit into your body. There are also other organs and bones as well, so it's probably just tissue that feels somewhat firm to the touch due to all the compression. If it really makes you nervous, see a doctor about it.

Butt Question!!! Please Answer Quickly!!! Only home for a few minutes?

I have hemeroids and the applicator broke for my medicine. I applied in with my finder one day. Starting at the entrance tube to my butt, about 2 - 3 inches in i noticed a wall. The tube continued upwards from here. Is this wall normal?

I worry a lot and it would be nice if some one could answer this fast for me.
Answer:
Yes, it's normal. Relax, my friend.
Drinking lots of water; decreasing your red meat consumption %26 increasing your fruit %26 veggie intake will help a lot with hemmorhoids.
umm i wouldn't ask then on the internet!! go c a doctor or somethin!
USE TUCKS AND CALL IT A DAY!
i saw your other question, but im sorry i just dont know the answer thats probably why other people aint answered, all i can say is look on google, im sorry :o(
Most likely you were feeling internal hemorrhoids. These are treatable. Go see a proctologist for this.
i dont know but i do know that sticking your finder up your butt is a bad idea...
I wouldn't worry about it as long as you can deficate (poop) without a problem.
It's your anal cherry. You need to go get it taken care of.
yes it is normal
your inside wall is sollen
buy preration h/ suppository
ask a butt doctor lol
i think you should see a doctor

Burping problem?

In the morning I tend to burp quite frequently. I feel like my throat is full of gas and it gives a kind of burning sensation. I drink lots of fizzy juice during the night when I am thirsty.

Any ideas what could be causing this?.
Answer:
It sounds as though you are dealing with a lot of stomach acid. Since you're getting thirsty at night, you do need to drink something, but stick with plain water. The "fizz" in most carbonated drinks is carbon dioxide, and under the right circumstances, it can make your stomach very acidic. If drinking water insteady of fizzy drinks doesn't help, consider taking an over-the-counter medication like Prilosec to cut down on acid in your stomach at night.
low or high blood sugar or your hungover
fizzy juice?

nah couldnt be that.

its got to be a hiatal hernia
sounds like acid reflux.
Take a charcoal tablet in the night once every two days. Avoid carbonated drinks after your dinner is over.

Burnt tongue question?

My tongue got horribly scalded on some instant rice (I didn't drain it well) and I was looking at it in the mirror and noticed red spots in the area I burned it, one of which was dark red. I thought maybe it was just something on it, so I scrapped at it with my finger nail. Well its blood. I've never had this to happen so I was wondering what I need to do, gargle salt water or such?
Answer:
It will heal on its own
Just let it be, it will heal.
treat it like any burn, suck on some ice to reduce the swelling, gargling with salt wouldnt hurt either , would help aid the healing
probably nothing, the mouth heals fast, and it's always got germs in it, so it regulates that pretty well
Put some Sodium bicarbonate on it.
wow, it sounds like herpes lesions.
I'd probably gurgle salt water. It probably wasnt very smart to scrape your scalded tongue. I also would go to the doctor, since it's bleeding, you could get an infection.
gargle salt water.
keep your fingers out of your mouth.
eat soft foods the next day or 2 and you will heal.
If not healed by monday, call the doctor.

if you have malax, you can put that on it, just a bit.
it will cool it down.
so will milk, take out the burn.

sorry. it must really hurt!

Listerine, or gargle with warm salt water.
Salt water is best for now.
ICE ICE ICE.......... It keeps the blisters from forming. If you have a blender, crush some %26 suck on it letting lay on the tough. You are not ready for salt water yet. Since you used your nail which has so many germs, gargle with peroxide watered down 1/2. Good luck, I know your are in pain
Gargle with salt water and mouth wash (it will sting!) but it will help.
Keep your mouth clean. Gargle a couple times daily with a 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 1 part water mixture. It'll begin to go away within a few days. In the mean time, if it begins to hurt, suck on an ice cube. This will also help to heal the tissues of your tongue.
Injuries to the mouth will heal very quickly due to the large amount of blood flow to the facial area and head, so you won't have too much of a healing period.
Another thing that someone once told me was to put a teaspoon of sugar on your tongue and hold it against the roof of your mouth (with your tongue) until it dissolves. This apparently helps relieve the pain right after a burn. I've never tried it though so not sure if that one works.
Good luck to you!
well if it's blood, it's something to be worried about.. ask professional help.. don't put alternative medicine on that delicate part of your mouth..

Burning Paper/Plastic?

so... My mom made some pork chops and some how a piece of papery/platicy thing (probably a wrapper from the pork chops) ended up in the oven.

Well, obviously, it made the house smell terrible and what not, but could it be harmful to us?

OH! And my mom ate one of the porkchops!!

How concerned should I be? I Have two little dogs here, can they get sick?
Answer:
i doubt she burnt enough plastic to hurt anyone.Unless she put the whole package in the oven
i doubt it

Burning feet, what to do?

I am doing a housekeeping job and walk 4 to 5 miles a day. My feet burn doing this. What can I do?
Answer:
When I walk a lot, my feet burn, too. Does it feel like it's just the surface to you? Or inside? Because with me it's like the sole of my feet.

Strange as this may sound, I soak my feet in a warm water solution of 80% water and 20% Clorox bleach. (I started with 10% but, over the years, have started making it a lot stronger.)

Works for me, gets rid of the burning feeling for weeks or months. But I don't know if that is what you're facing.
put in cd
get a pumice stone and rub the callouses off the soles of your feet.
ahh.stick them in water....
Purchase more comfortable shoes to be walking 4-5miles /day..after your long day, soak your feet in the tub, give them a massage with cream afterwards and keep feet elevated as much as you can at home before on your feet again * goodluck*
Shoes play a huge role in this. I suggest (depending on what you do) either replace your shoes ever 6 months, or 300 miles. You might need new insoles. If you go to a store that specializes in shoes they can make a suggestion if you tell them what you do. They will look at the bottom of your shoe and see how you wear down. You might have to go to the doctor if that doesn't help.
Burning or itching? Have you tried a doctor?

Could be fungus (go to pharmacy), hormones (go to doctor), bacteria reacting to sweat or you out of condition and body slow to adjust (powder and clean socks daily).

Hard to tell you why your feet burn because so many causes. You maybe hygenic appearance, but bacteria / fungus can't be seen. Tinea / athletes foot is common.
I soak my feet in epsom salts and hot water. I also never, ever wear the same shoes two days in a row. I rotate my shoes. By wearing them one day and leaving them home the next, I insure that they're dried out inside (all our feet sweat to some degree) and lower my risk of having some fungus in my shoes.

Bunion Surgery - What do you think? What was your experience?

I had bunion surgery (chevron procedure) on my right foot in the middle of December. I had my surgery on a Thursday and was back to work on Monday.

When the doctor showed me my before and after x-rays, I was amazed. There is obvious improvement in the structure of my foot. He said it looked great! He did shave a bit of the bone but also did a chevron procedure %26 realigned my foot. I had a pin in but that got infected %26 was taken out early. I still have pain when I walk on my foot like I should. My foot still has a bump on the side. I was concerned with this bump until I saw that x-ray. Because of how nice the x-ray looked, I assumed it was still swelling. But I still have the bump!

I find myself walking more on the side of my foot without even realizing it. Maybe recovery takes longer and I should be patient, I just don't know. Could it still be swelling? I'm especially nervous because my next surgery (left foot) is scheduled for March 15th.
Answer:
I'm thinking of having this surgery real soon, and my Dr. said I must be off of my foot almost completely for at least 2 weeks, then only try to work part time for another 2 weeks as it takes bones a long time to heal correctly. He would prefer I would take off work 6 weeks but I can't, so I have to behave as he says. If you don't take it slow there may be problems. I'm real nervous about this too. Hope yours gets much better.
I have been told it takes 6-12 months for full healing after that procedure

Bunged-up due to un-shed tears?

according to my masseuse/psycho-therapist im constantly bunged-up because of bottled up emotions. is there any truth in this notion?
Answer:
Oh yes. I was recently diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. I was told that my symptoms get worse when I'm penting up various emotions. I find that when I release those emotions by crying, working out or just plain relaxing, I feel at least twice as better than when I started.

You'd be surprised what emotions you'll store away and not chose to unload. It could be because of your upbringing and how your parents dealt with stress, or your basic personality type. I just happen to keep my emotions to myself because that's how I am, but letting them out when I'm alone feel oh-so-good.

I usually try to find at least 15-20 minutes a day to have some "me" time. I will cry on the couch if I've had a bad day, I'll do some kickboxing to get out my frustration, I'll do yoga to center myself, or I'll just take a bubble bath and vent to myself.

It works.
yes its amazing what bottling up emotions can do,it gives me heartburn and stomach problems.
Maybe not, but have a good cry and see if it helps.
Oh, certainly. If you don't release those emotions, they build up inside you and make you tense. I carry all of my tension in my shoulders/back area, and it's constantly achy. I've never bee to a masseuse, I know it would hurt because I'm so knotted up; from bottling up my frustrations, you see. Which takes us back to the beginning of this convo...
I think you need a hobby I love Mr. Magoo
Its true that our emotions show theirselves in a physical way, Have you thought about what you might b bottling up ?

Do you think you're bottling things up ? I think that

You're the 1 who knows if there is any truth in this notion -

Bump on sternum/breastplate?

Below my color bone and above my breasts on my sternum there is a hard lump tha feels like it could be part of my bone, but sometimes it will ache and make my right shoulder and arm (to the elbow or further down) hurt very much. Should I be worried?
Answer:
The sternum is a very sensitive area on humans, in fact doctors will often "rub" an unconscious person's sternum to rouse them or get a response. Many people have "bumps" on the sternum because this is an area where cartilage attaches it to the ribs. You may have injured it without knowing, causing inflammation or you may have a "bone spur", either way it could cause significant pain! See your doctor, it is probably something that can be taken care of with an x-ray and some anti-inflammatories and pain medication. Don't worry until you have a reason to. :) Good Luck!
I would highly suggest you went to see your doctor about this. I am not a doctor myself, but i would hazard a guess that this is not good! Have you had a recent injury in that area recently? Did this bump grow over time, or just appear. All these things need to be considered, but anything like that really should be seen to by a professional.
did u try asking ur parents or go to the doctor
Do what catherine says......

Bruise help?

I have a bruise on my leg. how can i make it go away sooner?
Answer:
rubbing alcohol (not the drinking kind) it works awesome
You can't,it is from broken capillaries under the epidermis of the skin, your body will absorb the blood.
That white, pulpy stuff inside oranges that most people peel off %26 throw away? That stuff contains something called bioflavanoids which speed the healing of bruises.
Go buy a bag of oranges %26 leave as much of it ON as you can stand, %26 eat it with the orange. It has a slightly bitter taste that I've actually come to enjoy.
Or, you could go buy some Vitamin C with bioflavanoids in it %26 take several throughout the day, with food.
just after you get a bruise put ice on it,it will shrink the veins and the bruise will be smaller.you can also put yellow eye shadow on then but cover-up on this will lighten the bruise.hope you are feeling better soon.

Breathing...?

Breast Reduction?

I am just wondering for anyone who has had a reduction how long did it take before you could carry heavy things again?

I am having a Breast Reduction soon but I have just gotten into University and some of my books are so heavy that I'm worried I would not be able to carry them, even with a school bag after my surgery. What sort of things could you lift within a week of your operation?

Also to anyone who has had one do you think that I would be able to go back to Uni after only 1 week? And how long were you not driving your car for?

Thankyou to everyone who answers
Answer:
I had a breast reduction a little over a year ago and it was the best decision that I have ever made. I also had the Le Jour technique (the lollipop cut) I went from a DDD to a Full C/low D bra size. I was up in 2 days but I would advise taking it easy because believe me gravity sucks! I took 2 weeks off from work and since I didnt have the incision under my breasts I was able to drive. You just have to be careful not to move/bounce around too much because the incision is vertical and gravity is constantly working on it. My doctor advised 6 wks before lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk or doing any running or working out. After that time, I went back to wearing underwire bras and resumed all normal activity. I had a GREAT surgeon so my scars are minimal and the results are great.
You should give yourself time to recover physically and mentally because there are serious changes happening to you.
It depends on the size you go from.I went from a 32 ddd to about a 32 c I was not able to move my arms from my side for about a week, but i was starting my senior year about 3 weeks after it and was fine. You have to be real careful though you do not want to pull a stitch. It all depends on how large the incision is though too.

And remeber that it is a big change, i know i was uber excited because clothing fot me better. So look forward to the positive changes.

EDIT: My scars are really not that bad, the only ones that you can see still are under my breast and they are not even that bad. And if you start as early as you can with cocoa butter and vitamin e it will help loads. And really good luck, i have been there and i could not be happier, well i could be if i had them reduced again but that is another story....
Why would anyone make their breasts smaller? I'll gladly hold on to your big boobs for you!
y would u WANT breast reduction.......... unless your breats are grossly humugous......... if theyre smaller than a D dont do it.... if they are bigger than a D get them down to a D...... D is the perfect size XD
Hi, I would advise not to have this barbaric surgery!! I've seen the scars and disfigurement that it causes. Please reconsider!!!
I can understand the need to get right back into school. But, everyone is different. This is a pretty invasive procedure. You can go either way on mobility just depending on how your body reacts. Whatever you do, listen to your dr %26 restrict movements. Ask friends to help you carry things for the first week back %26 then use a rolling suitcase or postpone your surgery till summer break when you will have more time to recover. Trust me when I say that if you are not careful, even if you feel good, you might unknowingly harm something that won't heal correctly.
can you send me some hot before and after pictures? well... I've never had a breast reduction, but after i got my penis resized i could drive within 12 hours.
no don't do it
please
You shouldn't be lifting any really heavy object for at least two weeks. I also could not drive for a week.

Like some said, scars are not that bad. I had my surgery in Feb '06 and my scars are 95% gone. You have to really look to see them. I used scarguard and mederma.

A site that helped me a lot for my surgery is http://www.breasthealthonline.com...

I was a 38J and now am a 38C and love it.

Congrats on your surgery!
If you are considering decreasing the size of your breasts, there are a few things that you should take note of, before and after the breast reduction surgery. A breast reduction is usually considered a more serious surgical procedure than a simple augmentation with an implant and will usually require an overnight stay in the hospital. However, with the restrictions now being placed on hospitals by insurance companies, patients receiving reductions are quite often discharged the same day as surgery.

As with an augmentation, it is very important that you prepare your body for the surgery by getting good sleep and nutrition in the week prior to your procedure. If you are a smoker, you should be at least be prepared not to smoke for at least three weeks prior to and following your surgery. Women taking any kind of immunosuppressive medications, have difficulty with healing, or have any current infections should delay or cancel their breast reduction surgery until these matters can be resolved. And finally, as with a breast augmentation, it is important to arrange your life prior to your surgery so that you will have time to properly recover without the responsibilities of childcare, work, or meal preparation.

If you wish to know more on the preparations for a breast reduction surgery, you can read more on the article at http://cosmetic-surgery.my-fashion-house...

Breakout on my chin...how do I clear it up. Is using bar soap on a washcloth bad?

Ive just switched to a bar soap, followed up by a l'oreal product for guys that helps to moisturize oily skin. Will this help clear up my skin, most notably my chin and forehead (the most troubled spots). Also, is using a washcloth on the face bad? Thanks!
Answer:
If you're going to use a washcloth, be sure to get a clean one every time you wash your face. Don't even use it a second time in the same day. They can hold bacteria.

As for the soap, it depends on what kind of soap you're using. For example, deodorant soaps could make matters worse.
No,,washcloth is good. After you wash %26 dry your face before bed,,lightly baby powder.
Bar soap... a definate no no for the face. Bars of soap dry out your skin which causes your skin to produce more oil, which in turn, breaks out your skin worse. Get a foaming cleanser made specifically for the face and make sure it has salicylic acid in it. A washcloth is not bad as long as it is gentle and you are not trying to rub your skin raw. Hope this helps.

Brain freeze?!?

can anyone tell me what brain freeze actually is?!! and what causes it and were? just curious!!
Answer:
Brain Freeze is the reaction to very cold stuff hitting the taste sensory areas of the mouth. This causes the the brain to overcompensate blood flow in the head, rapidly sending it to the cold source to provide heat. Ergo, causing extreme pain in the upper head area, aka, a headache. To learn more, click the link below. Cheers!
its when you eat ice cream or ice drinks or anything ice cold and you put too much in your mouth it goes straight to your head this i think is a brain freeze so if you do eat a lot of ice cream or ice drinks eat or drink them slowly
Brain freeze is a spliting instant headache you get when you eat something cold too fast. For instance, if you take a large bite of ice cream, sometimes when it hits the roof of your mouth, the front part of your head all of sudden goes "ow" for about 30 seconds because it's too much cold for your body to handle all at once.
Here's a link you can go to for a bit more info.
http://science.howstuffworks.com/questio...
It says that the cause is a dilation of blood vessels in the head, possibly caused by a nerve center located at the roof of your mouth. When that gets cold, it overreacts and tries to heat your brain.
I think its just what authors would call writers block. When you just can't think of any thing. There can be many causes, such as, sorry I've got writers block.
I think its when you eat ice cream to fast and your brain freezes.

Body ratio???

What i want to know is:
according to a person's height what should be the lenght of his feet, arms, neck, ribs?(when the person is in good health without any syndrome or very rare abnormalities.)
What i want to know exactly is if there is some kind of ratio for the human bones according to the person's height that exist?
Answer:
Your armspan, from fingertip to fingertip when you hold your arms our horizontally should be very close to your height.

Da Vinci is credited with observing this as shown in his famous drawing of a man inscribed in a circle.
It all varies due to genetics. There is no set measurement of other body parts in relation to your height.

GOD BLESS YOU , PEOPLE CARE ABOUT YOU , THINK OF JESUS WHEN YOUR DOWN , THINK OF A VISION OF HIM ..REMEMBER , JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS!
get out and enjoy the outdoors. find a hobby, something you enjoy doing by yourself. read books
You could take a class on spelling!
You need to entertain your self with new places and people, go to the mall or something and just be friendly to people youll meet some new peepes before you know it or go to a youth meeting at a near by church
go run!
seriously run and listen to some music
run out all your pain/depression/whatever
works for me
Get a hobby!! Try reading or exercising. Be creative, write something, draw something, play an instrument or blast some good music. Find a GOOD friend. Just don't sit around thinking about bad stuff-distract yourself. What do you love to do? Do that!!
Do you have any hobbies or such? Growing up in a small town of about 3,000 people I am able to relate to how you feel. I went through a large number of different hobbies that kept me entertained and helped pass the time. If you sit and think about it I'm sure you will realize that there is something that you like do to and are good at that can keep you away from boredom. As to your nose, our faults usually seem a lot bigger to us than to other people, and true people won't care about your looks anyways. As the old saying goes "Those who matter, don't care, and those who care, don't matter." About your best friend, having a graduating class of 57 can cause a lot of drama considering everyone knew all about everyone Else's personal life, trust me, things like that happened quite often to me and the people I knew. As hard as it may be, the best thing to do would be to forget about this "best friend" and just move on with your life.
Take comfort in the fact that there are a heap of people on ByeDR.com who don't even know you, that care about you and your feelings.
Below is a list of famous people who are Dyslexic. That should cheer you up. Their are some big names there.

Blood, Protein and white blood cells in my urine?

I have previously had a miscarriage and have had stomache pains for three weeks. I went back to my gp who did a urine test. It came back with Blood, protein and white blood cells, what can this mean?

He also asked about thrush, which i have got and he has given me something for that.
Answer:
i am very sorry about you;re miscarriage i also had one last year did you go for a d and c i had its heart breaking to go throw this ,it sounds like you have an infection in you're womb if you haven't had a d and c go back to you're doctor to get a scan just in case it didn't come all away that's if you're still in pain he will also prob put you on antibiotics good luck hope you're better soon.
It means you have a urinary infection, and he needs to give you an antibiotic as well as the thrush medicine. I'm a nurse.
then theres your answer these are all or can be present when an infection is present thats why he asked about thrush the test results lead him to it no worries kid
You probably have an infection. When your white blood cells are up...that means infection. Also, the protein and blood in your urine could mean a urinary tract infection or a kidney infection. Check w/your doctor.

Blood Tests?

Renal, Liver, Random Cholesterol and Glucose Fasting. are ticked for testing.....What will they be looking for
Answer:
Renal-kidney function
Random cholesterol-fat in blood
Glucose-diabetes
Looking for? Maybe a range of meds to put you on
They are just to confirm you have no problem.Don't panic.
not really sure but possibily diabetes...maybe its just to check everything is working ok.
they are loOKing to see if you have high cholesterol,if you sugar level is OK,if you liver is functioning ok.its nothing to worry about these are generally the blood test they do on well check ups.it just lets the doctor know if there is anything to keep an eye out for.

Blood pressure is really high?

i just read the answers from the lady who has high blood pressure and i just come back from the doctors yesterday and they said my blood pressure was high. i have to go back in two weeks so they can check on it, i dont smoke and drink(really) and i train at a boxing gym 4 times a week, but i suffer with panic attacks and was really nervous and sweaty when i saw the doc yesterday, do you think that was why my blood pressure was high?
Answer:
That may well be the reason for you elevation in BP. A good doctor will know and appreciate this and arrange to repeat your BP check a number of times before considering any management.

Also in a young person even if the BP remained raised he would check a 24 hour BP monitor trace. ( small monitor left on for 24 hours which automatically records BP every 30 minutes.) This tends to avoid White Coat Hypertension. ( The patient whose BP is up ONLY when the doctor takes it.)
Some people get white coat syndrome when they go to the doctors that can give you high blood pressure.
Could be. A lot of things can cause high blood pressure, and it is REALLY important to control it. Have it checked regularly and take your doctor's advice.
You may be right that since you are nervous your blood pressure was high.

That's why your doctor needs to see you again to find out whether your pressure is still high.

I also have high blood pressure and since I'm on meds, I don't worry about it as long as I'm taking my meds.
It could have been caused by your panic attack. Monitor it yourself for the two weeks untill you go back. 2 or 3 times a day. Hopefully you live close to where you can use those free machienes. Write it down and what time of day it is. That will help your doctor when you go back.
It could have caused it , but make sure you keep an eye on it, and keep up the exercise coz it helps to keep blood pressure down.

Blood poisoning?

I have had a bad tooth for a few months.Last night my cheeck swelled a little. This morning the whole right side of my face was and is still swollen.Even my right eye lids are swollen.Im running below normal tempatures and high fevers.I went to the doctor today. The doc said it is a infection in my gums. She said my blood pressure is too low,my heart rate is too fast and with my temps being too low to too high that I have toxins in my blood.I was givin a antibiotic shot and percription for antibiotics. Is toxins in the blood stream the same as blood poisoning? I did not ask her because I never thought of the question until tonight.I feel like if I have the flu.Fever(when not below normal)chills, weakness, aches and pains.
Answer:
Blood poisoning is the old word for sepsis, which means an infection that has circulated through the body via the blood. It's a very serious condition. Be sure to take those antibiotics on time and exactly as prescribed. Also be sure you're taking in lots of oral liquids...water, juices, popsicles, soup. That will help raise your blood pressure and replace the fluids your body burns up when you have a fever. If you don't feel better within 48 hours, or if you get worse before that time, go to the ER. Hopefully you have made an appointment with a dentist so you can get that tooth and gums taken care of as soon as you've finished the course of antibiotics.
Infection of any kind can do strange things to the body.

Take heed to her instructions, meds and get the thing taken care of.
As a healthcare provider I would have prescribed exactly what your doctor did, and Barberry's answer is perfect. Follow those two for advice....
Go to the Dentist right away you do have an infection...are you taking any antibiotics? after the antibiotics are in your system the oral surgeon (dentist) will put a small incision above the tooth that is infected to relieve the swelling-you will notice the results right away...but All the symptoms you are feeling are coming from this tooth..go ASAP please...

Blood in stool after eating spicy food?

Hi,
After I eating spicy food I notice I have blood in my stool. What might causes it ? Thanks
Answer:
Blood in the stool will be black not red 90% of the time.

The spice might be irritating an inflamed part of the bowel and causes it to leak blood.
dude go to the doctor its bad that means that there blood in ur stomach and thats bad u coudl die from that its not normal
If the food was red it may not be blood. Just the food color. Also if it is blood it may be hemorrhoids bleeding. also if it burns coming out it may be nothing. If you see blood in any other stools you need to see a doc. Maybe ask one anyway. just to be safe.
You probably have an early stage of hemorrhoids. it is a swelling of the veins in your rectum...in short your *** is swelling up. Eating spicy foods can irritate these veins while your sitting on your throne there. I had the same problem when I had a trip to Bangkok...whew they go out of ya like fire also!
This can be avoided by drinking a lot of fluids and eating foods high in fiber. Also avoid reading the newspaper while taking a dump or forcing bowel movement when your not really going. Start changing your eating %26 sh**ing habits while its still on early stage.
Hi,
You must going to proctologist now. Not delay!
The causes of it --hemorroids, diseases of intestine and oncology of intestine.
You must have examination and treatment.
Have a good health

Blood in my sick?

I puked last night and first it was just bile then pelletts of blood. What should I do?
Answer:
Not a good thing. Go to the doctors. It could just be that you have caused bleeding from being sick too much (If you were sick a lot). It could be a gastric ulcer or it could be something worse. The range is quite large of things it could be but no one on here could tell you without examining you first (and that's if they are a doctor).
I would get to the doctros right away - that is never good.
Go to the docotr. Vomitin g blood is not good...ever.
I would see your GP asap. I had blood in my sick when i was pregnant and being sick all day from a scratched throat but it was just little traces. Sounds like that needs investigating
You need to make an appointment with your doctor ASAP. Please don't be alarmed, you may just have blown a tiny blood vessel if straining. But please see doc to be on safe side.

Good Luck.
Go seek advice from your GP.
I would't worry to much about that. It's happened to me before. It's your throat that is sore and has been scratched by all the pressure of throwing up. If your still worried about it just go to your GP.
I would see your gp as already advised, it is likely that you've just burst a capillary from all the straining.

If your have any symptoms such a stomach pain the it could be the beginnings of an ulcer.
See your doctor TODAY just to be safe
This may well have been caused by bursting a blood vessel with the force of the vomit. However it may also indicate you have a bleeding point in your stomach, so you need to see your GP for safety.
If it happens again go to the doctors. You may have digested some red food colouring in your food, but if you're sure it's blood, get it checked out by the doctor.
it doesnt always mean anything, i was bringing up lots of fresh blood a day for over a year, i had a gastroscopy, they didnt find anything, it was due to stress, if youre worried though, see your gp

Blocked Ear..?

My little sister is 5 years old, my parents are in Manchester and im babysitting my brother and sister.
My sister has just came to me saying her right ear feels blocked and she has an ear ache.
I know Olive Oil can help clear a blocked ear, but we dont have any and the corner shops dont do any either, there is also noway I can get into town with these two.
I cant get her down the doctors being as it is sunday, and the hospital wont see her as it "isnt an urgent case"

What could I try?
Answer:
Have you tried phoning NHS Direct, one of the nurses there could help put your mind at rest. They will take all your details and tell your what they think is wrong - and tell you if you need to see a doctor. The number is: 0845 4647

Don't ever, ever, EVER stick something in a child's ear without it being checked out by a doctor!

My son complained of a blocked ear when he was six and, after taking him to hospital, we found he had stuck a stone down there - which had to be hoovered out!

Olive oil is only good for wax - and it has to be used over several days, to help ease out the collected wax. However, at aged five, it is unlikely this is the problem with you sister.

It is quite possible she had what is known as 'swimmers ear' - when your ears feel blocked due to an infection. She would need some antibiotic/steroid ear drops to help this.

It is also possible that she has a viral infection, in which case paracetemol and bed rest are the only things that can help. Have you taken her temperature?

If your little sis seems hot or is in pain, take her to the hospital anyway.

************ UPDATE ***********

Get your sis some Calpol and dose her with this (Sweet tasting paracetamol medicine). Should be able to get some round your local shop/garage. Tuck her up with a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel, to put next to her ear and sit it out til your can get to a doc tomorrow.
If it is a wax buildup, any oil will do. If it is a plugged Eustachian tube, that is something different.
my friend if she is not in pain take her tommorw give her some calpol or junior aspirin for now, keep her ear warm as this reduces pain take are wrap a scarf round it take care
see a doctor they have a machine to wash it out and it feels real good
If its a block in the eustachian tube, try telling your sister to swallow a few times with her mouth and nose closed with her fingers. that will help. but if she has a blocked ear due to wax, then you will have to remove it. use any edible oil available at home, or better glycerine. DONT USE MINERAL OIL. make the oil or glycerine lukewarm. feel the heat on your tender skin. put it in your sisters ear only when the heat is acceptable and it does not hurt. insert 3-4 drops. wait for 4 min with her head tilted. now turn her head. use a soft ear bud to remove the melted wax. NEVER USE ANY POINTED OBJECT. The back of a safety-pin may be of some use, as it has a smooth loop to remove the wax. try it. Hope she'll be better.
warm compress should work best.
20 min. intervals.

Does she have a temperature? Know if she does, when you call doctor and/or parents.

If pain does not ease up and/or gets worse, call the doctors office, there is usually a doctor or RN on standby. There is usually no charge for an initial phone consultation.

Try and get in touch with your parents.

DO NOT put anything in the ear... oil etc.
The above advice seems all good and well intentioned, but having her chew a large wad of gum might help loosen the blockage and relieve her pain temporarily.

Blocked Ear . HeadAche . Neckache?

My ear feels relli blocked . its not that saw . plus my got pains at the back of my head . the same side off which my ear is blocked . i always have had slight neck pain .. i also how tonslitus .. ??
Answer:
u really need 2 c a Doc.
sounds like u may have an ear infection.
don't leave it until u feel really rough.
c 1 ASAP.
go to your doctor for help.
Hey katie r try having your ear/s syringed this should help. Don't stick ear buds in it only pushes the blockage further in. My doctor once told me "nothing smaller than your elbow should be inserted into your ear". Good luck
sounds like your geting a bad cold maybe flu stock up on lempsips or beechams and some paracetamol.
Between the inner ear and your throat there is a connecting tube that equalises the pressure so that the ear drum does no burst under pressure (Swimming etc). It sounds like you may have an infection in this tube resulting in the symptoms you have. I suggest you get down to you doctor and get it checked out.
There are many problems which may cause these symptoms; If your GP doesn't give you the answer you need, try an Osteopath or Physio. Yellow Pages only list registered practitioners or try Googling those words.
take 2 paracetomol and have a lie down as the dr would say.
Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems

Bloated no matter what I eat????

I don't know what's wrong with me, but no matter what I eat, I get bloated. Even if it's not greasy or dairy product. What could this be? (I'm not pregnant, and I've never had any surgeries)
Answer:
Are you drinking enough water? This can cause the body to feel bloated. It could honestly be several things, but if you're not in any serious pain then start by drinking more water.

It could also be caused by you eating too quickly. Try focusing on how quickly you eat. Most people don't really realize just how fast they eat, especially if it's all they are used to. Make sure you're taking your time with each bite you take. A lot of people say to chew around 30 times before swallowing, but counting each time you chew can become daunting and quickly ruin an enjoyable meal. The best way to focus on your chewing without counting is just to chew until the food is a consistent texture in your mouth. If you still have huge chunks of food mixed with a smooth blended texture, then keep chewing. Once the bite of food is all the same texture, along the lines of let's say a thick paste, then it's okay to swallow the food.

If it still isn't getting better, then I suggest going to the doctor.

I wish you the best!
It could be your gallbladder so I suggest you go see your doctor. You need to anyway.
read this
http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases...
Have you considered a problem with your gallbladder? That is one of the signs of the gallbladder not working properly. One suggestion would be to take digestive enzymes before you eat and see if that helps.
If you don't think it's your diet; is your anxiety level high? It could be hormonal; when was your last OBGYN check up? This should be addressed by a Doctor. Good Luck!

Bleeding from Rectum?

My mother is 45 years old, and she just discovered that she was bleeding from her rectum durring her bowel-movement. The past few days she has been feeling weak and dizzy. What could this be? Help please ... thank you.
Answer:
Your mother needs to go to the ER if she is bleeding from her rectum. This is considered an emergency. If she is feeling dizzy and weak it may be from blood loss somewhere in her colon. Please take her in ASAP. If it is a little blood it could be just a hemmrohid again... but it can be more then that. She needs to be seen by a doctor to rule out a more serious issue. Good Luck!
Flax seed oil would help. Cayenne Pepper will help. You might Horse chestnut and butcher's broom are two herbs worth the effort.

Consider drinking several glasses of water each day with a pinch of unrefined sea salt. This will make you more regular and help heal your anal fissure.

Glucosamine and MSM are two supplements I would use to help tears repair.

Hydro Therapy could work wonders:

Add several tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a milk jug of hot water water then fill up your bath tub with enough hot water to cover your whole body but not deep enough to cover your head.

Drink a glass of distilled water with a table spoon of apple cider vinegar, a dash of cinnamon, and a dash of cayenne before you take your bath and and another while you take your bath.

Pour your jug into your bath and sit for an hour.

Rinse off with a cool down shower.

Nude sunbathing is another thing I would do... Let the sun shine in...

Bleeding defecation?

there was red on the paper after defacating. a bit later i got a headache (which isn't unusual for me) accompanied by inner ear pain. my left side around to my back also started to have a dull pain.
Answer:
Use common sense. No one here is a doctor, even if they were, and cannot diagnose you over the net. Go see a damned doctor.
hemorrhoids? you really should see a doctor, man.
I'm pretty sure the bleeding you experienced has nothing to do with your headache, earache, or back pain. Finding a small amount of blood on toilet paper after a bowel movement is not unusual. Only painless, unexplained rectal bleeding is important.

Sound like you've got more than one health issue going on. Make an appointment with your doctor.

Big health issues?

what are some big health issues that america faces? thanks!
Answer:
Some big health issues are drugs being so expensive that people without inusrance can't afford to get their prescriptions filled. The fact that insurance companies are not being competative at times so companies are forced to change to different insurance companies causing there employees to have to change doctors and hospitals. The fact that healthcare is not available to everyone.

Best way to sober up after smoking marijuania?

Answer:
Well for starters only fools and nitwits smoke this stuff in the first place why are you a nitwit???? and the best way to sober up is to leave the rubbish alone in the first place no good has ever came out of doing drugs only death, addiction, and loss of ones self.
sleep
first things first. don't admit to the use of illegal drugs on the internet. that's why they call it dope.
I find eating can kill a buzz.
dont smoke it to begin with
Try taking a shower and have a cup of coffee. GL =)
Marijuana stays in the fat cells for almost an eternity. Even years later, a person might have symptoms of intoxication and show a false positive on a drug test.

To answer your question, the only way to sobriety is psychotherapy and Marijuana Anonymous.

Good luck !!

Best way to sleep...?

I need tips on sleeping. What position is comfortable? How many pillows are good? Please give me any and all information!
Answer:
im suggesting you buy a "sleep number bed"
sleeping pills
hugging a bear
hugging a pillow
close your eyes
play music [ soft music ]
turn of all lights [nightlight if needed]
your body naturaly knows how to be comfortable, if you are having trouble sleeping like I used to, there is a natural suplement that I have taken for years that helps. It's called valarian root, you take it half an hour before you go to bed and you will be off to dream land in no time.
You should sleep either on your right side or your stomach. Sleeping on your back is okay unless you have sleep apnea. Sleeping on your left side should be avoided because it isn't good on your hearts circulation. One pillow is all you need. Any more than that will interfere will the alignment of your spine;causing back and neck pain.
I tend to find a good-sized boulder, preferably with a little cool moss on one side. Basically just scurry up on top of it, arch on it on my back, let my feet dangle. Occasionally I'll fall off, but most of the time would have needed to change positions by then anyway.
sleep with one eye open .....
gripping your pillow tight !
your body will tell you what is comfortable
that basically depends on u and ur body. i would recommend that u use one or two pillow(s) and sleep on the side that ur not facing the wall if ur bed is on the side. sleep with ur left shoulder down and ur right up. that's how i sleep...hope it helps!! i almost forgot, hug something like a stuffed bear or something or keep it right next to ur arms. it helps, trust me.
I have huge bed I use 3 pillows . have you try body hug ? It gives me tremendous comfort. as for position face up and on the sides are good
Upside down, clinging from the ceiling. Works for most bats, and you never hear them complain.

Best way to sleep less but still feel alert?

I think sleeping is a waste of time. What's the best way to sleep less but still have the same level of mental alertness?
What about sleeping for like 5 hours at night, and then taking a bunch of naps throughout the day?
Has anyone tried polyphasic sleep?
Answer:
Here is some basic info regarding sleep:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/sleep...

The bottom line is that depriving yourself of sufficient sleep (generally regarded to be 7 to 9 hrs/night) is possible, but the consequences will involve negative impacts to your physical and mental health. In particular, prolonged sleep deprivation has been shown to adversely affect memory.

Sorry that I do not have better news for you.
Ok. It is just like a modern person to try to change the human condition. But if you want to feel better on less sleep you need to recover faster. So, if you eat a clean diet(this means no overeating either), drink plenty of water, exercise moderately, and reduce stress you can feel better on less sleep.

If that doesn't work try coffee. If coffee doesn't work, try speed. If speed doesn't work try meth. If meth doesn't work, try crack.

Or you could just get a good night's sleep and learn to be more productive and healthy.

I think that covers most of the simple options.

Best time to shower? please read on..........?

My girl showers in the night, which I think is disgusting as she leaves the house without cleaning herself (except teeth) I Shower in the morning as I can't leave the house with washing my body. We鈥檙e at a stale mate who is right?
Answer:
Sometimes shower at night because I know I will be hellishly late in the morning and won't have time. That is if I go to bed late and have to be up early, like 6.30am
morning
its a matter of preference, there is no right and wrong time to feel clean.
personally I do night and morning, but hey Im suppa doopa clean :)
eeeewwwwwww....... you get in to bed all dirty?!!? ICK! She's only dirty 'cause she's sleeping next to you!!

I'm only kidding... it's not going to matter either way. American's shower too much, to each their own... as long as you don't smell or look dirty.
Neither of you is right, it is personal preference
Whatever be glad she showers at all some folks take 2 showers a day
I don't like showering at night. I need to be CLEAN and FRESH when I leave the house in the morning.

Eww....you sleep and your HOO-HOO is all musty and your hair is all flat.

Nasty.
The best thing to do is shower twice, once in the morning, once in the evening. But you should shower in the morning - it keeps you fresh ad clean.
She should take a bath at night and a shower/hair wash in the morning. You should not go to bed unwashed as it lead to "backne" (that's back zits according to Queer Eye) and it's GROSS for the lovin'. She should not go to work all stinky from bed, but I am betting since she's a female she probably does not get as sweaty and yukky at night as a guy.
Its personal reference really, everyone is different!

I have to shower before going to bed and waking up in the morning, nothing worse than a sweaty betty lol!!!
i dont think either of you is right or wrong....everybody has their own way of doing things....some like to shower at night, other in the morning....i personally dont like to leave the house if i haven't taken a shower because i feel gross but my fiancee always takes one at night because he works 2nd shift and that is when he gets home....but everyone is entitled to their own opinion and behavior......if it bothers you that much why dont you suggest taking a shower together in the morning and maybe that will get her into the habit of doing it in the morning as well.
i agree with you, i HAVE to shower in the morning even if it meens being late but guess people are different, just got accept it-like it or lump it xxx
DO BOTH AND BE HAPPY AND CLEAAAN... I Do Both And I'm an A* Student
It IS a personal preference but she might just be being practical.

My boyfriend (and I guess most men) can shower, eat and leave the house in 20mins.

If I shower in the morning I need at least 45mins.... And thats if i dont care if my hair looks rubbish (otherwise an hour).

SO she might just value her sleep!!
My husband and I both take our showers in the morning.
I personally think that when you have been in bed all night you are smelly in the morning, I mean there are the night sweats and the smell of bed to consider ( unless you change your sheets every night). Showering in the morning makes you smell fresh for the day but it prevents you spending an extra 5 mins in bed. Loads of people prefer to shower at night though. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer to this question just each persons opinion. Morning shower is my preference.
in the morning. no point showering at night then lying in a warm bed if you dont shower in the morning. you just wont be fresh.
Oh wow,....... you wash EVERY day !!!!
I shower any time I feel like it.
i wash myself in a tin tub once a month...i smell like roses on a summer evening.......true
Compromise, shower together night and morning!! More fun, and you'll both be clean.....though possibly late for work!!!
Shower twice a day problem solved .
Personallly i take one in the morning and one at night then you stay fresh all the time.xx
Easy, shower when you get up, makes you nice and fresh when you start the day %26 shower before bed, relaxes you and makes you feel nice and nice to be with as you slip under the covers.
if she showers at night, then she be clean by morning..I think!!
I think you're being a little too conscientious. Maybe one gathers dirt etc during the day so by night u'd need a shower. But having said one might sweat during the night (I don't sweat but some people do). So I agree with everyone, you're both right, %26 it's a matter of preference.
I shower at night... id hate to go to bed with all the dirt from the day.

Best lotion?

What is the best over the counter lotion for severely dry skin. I need it mainly on my legs and feet, they are so dry they crack and my knuckles
Answer:
nuetragina... and I know I didnt spell that right. they make a great lotion, a bit price for hands... it works excellent on the feet too. no smell, and about 3 minutes you didnt even know you put it on. use it morning and night it is a world of difference.
I really like Aveeno, and use the bath stuff too, it really helps.
Vitamin E cream works great and is cheap too.
Aveeno body lotion all the way. they have different kinds so pick out the one best for you. i like the original.
There is a lotion called Miracle Foot Repair that you can use on your hands and feet. It works extremely well. I think I got it at Target.. But it might have been Bed Bath and Beyond...

You can put Vaseline on your feet and then put socks over them and go to sleep. This works well if you scrub them with a stone or the foot boards first.
the best thing i have found for dry cracked feet is from bath and body works they have an excellent peppermint foot cream i use it daily and love it they have some really good lotions and body creams too
Try Gold Bond Ultimate Moisturizing Skin Thereapy Lotion. I am really impressed with it, or Rawleighs medicated ointment for your knuckles works well too but greasy.
I love a new lotion I found online from a gal who makes it.

I had severely chapped hands, to the point where they were bleeding and her body butter helped me A LOT. And I didn't get the burning sensation when I used it either, like I've experienced with others.

Best arguments fpr medical marijuana....?

Answer:
It helps people on Chemotherapy to regain their appetite. so they will eat
its a lot better than cigarettes
If it helps people feel better, they should have access to it. It can be treated like any other controlled substance.
marijuana is all natural. no 'extras' such as there are in cigarettes. it boosts appetite in cancer patients and also induces sleep. there is no proof that it is addicting or leads to other illegal drug use.
natural pain releif and aid with nausea, also helps people sleep and eat

Benadryl for allergies????

Okay my allergies have been acting up really bad today. So on my lunch break I went to CVS and bought some allergy med. I just picked up the cheapest kind, got in my car and took one. I wasn't thinking about getting the non drowsey ones instead of the drowsey. I at work now and can barely hold my head up because I am so sleepy. Any idea of how long this will last or any suggestions on what to do?
Answer:
A couple of hours depending on how many 25mg tablets you took. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) has another popular brand name - Sominex. One of the primary side effects, as you well know, is drowsiness; hence its marketing as an over-the-counter sleep aid. It is normally dosed every 4 to 6 hours, so its effects should wear off by then.

By all means, get the store brand Claritin (loratadine) the next time. Get the 24 hour kind so you only have to take it once a day.

I hope this helps. Be well.

Rick the Pharmacist
benadryl is the best!!!!
for at least 3 to 4 hours. I did the same mistake you did a couple of weeks ago. What I did was splash some cold water on my face, walk around for a bit and drink something with some caffine in it (coffee, soda, etc)
next time buy the claritin otc product.. relatively non drowsy..
or an allergy-decongestant product containing
psuedoephedrine and an antihistamine..
claritin-d etc..
you can go to canada-rx and buy allegra-d and 12 hr allegra
reasonable..
in the us claritin plus generic sudafed is your best alternative
if you are sleepy now, take a decongestant if you have no
other health issues, pregant, diabetic, high bp, etc..
Different people react differently to medicines. You are highly sensitive to the benadryl (diphenhydramine). Although this med can be used for allergies, some people also take it for sleep at night by taking a total of 50mg.
The effects can last anywhere from 3-6 hours depending on how sensitive your system is. Try caffeine and moving around. Get plenty of fresh air and drink lots of water. It metabolizes (wears out) in your liver and excretes in your urine. In the future, look for the non-drowsy formulas.
There are OTC (over the counter) preparations like Claritin, Tylenol allergy, actifed, etc avail to treat your symptoms.
Just this once you might consider taking the rest of the day off sick. Maybe go to WebMD on the internet to get alternatives to OTC meds. Ask it about accupressure to relieve the pain of sinusitis.

Being in the computer for too long?

I have three days off from school. I spend these three whole days in the computer, taking my exams on reviews for tests, being on ByeDR.com on my break time and watching movies on my free time.

Is this bad for my health?
Answer:
well..actually I have the same problem..I spend tons of hours infront of the comp..I recommend that when you stand up from the computer...which actually you should do it like every hour..strecth a little, move your shoulders. Also try looking other places around the house...not just the screen. Actually if you don't do any exercise at all in these three days...you could get fatter.
There has been study into 'Internet addiction' as a possible health issue. As for physical issues...dry eyes, seizure risk (for epileptics), wrist or back pain from typing too long or leaning in a hunched position to read the screen, etc.
I use to play online video games a lotttt.. thank god i stopped..

but neways, i've developed upper back problems from it and now if i write or type for too long, my wrist kills and i need like a 2 hour rest :-/

it sucks if you're really addicted like i was. dont get too addicted man, like the above person said.. stretch and get some excersise
now such time when a lot of people spend time in front of computer or tv too long... of course it's not good for health but you (and we all) should take rest in every 20-30 minutes

Before having a bath i noticed how skinney i was, and that i could see my bones and rib cage. why is this?

i could see my bones, rib cage, even round the sides , also my hip bones stick out.
Answer:
It sounds like you may have an eating disorder and not know it. Eat nutritious foods and you'll look better. This is really the time to act. You might have done damage to your heart and other organs by not eating. I don't mean to be mean dear, I'm worried about you.
you have little muscle and body fat.
This reminds me of Mr. Puniverse....No offense.
Like what was said before, you have little body fat and little muscle, so your bones stick out. Do you know your BMI(body mass index)? If its too low, you may need tp gain some weight.
Otherwise, work out alittle and gain some muscles!

Woud normally say this is a tummy bug, but the vomit is bright pink.....doesnt look like blood....an ideas???
Answer:
Go over everything that your friend has eaten that might have caused the bright color, if no luck with that then I would suspect blood. Go to the ER.
blood...give it a couple months...and if it don't clear up then post another question
get him to the Dr...now
woa! depends on how long this has been going on? what about food poisoning, that could be it. sounds scary
umm.....instead of ByeDR.com, did you try A HOSPITAL???
if what u say is true....it sounds like u need to dial 911
mabie he has just been drinkin red cola
Get him to a dr just incase - it could just be something he ate, like beetroot or something else with a strong colour in it, but that plus the pain - if you can't get a gp out within about an hour and he's still the same get a taxi up to a+e. Hope he's ok xx
take him to a doctor and try not to be near very much before u get it that would be really bad
dial 999
might be some bad salmon my brother ate bad salmon once and his sick was pink as well

Been sick for a long time now?? What is it?

Ok I have been sick for almost 2 months now. When I say sick it sounds bad, but its more like stuffy, runny nose, congestion, head cold kinda sick. Some days its bad and others its just barely there. Its always worse in the morning. I went to the hospital becuase I was having chest pains and I thought it was bronchitis but the Dr. said the cartildge around my heart was inflammed and that it was common with young women, he prescribed me something and that was it. Nothing about the cold. Is there any suggestions? Does any else have this? Im getting married in 2 weeks and I dont wan to be sick, Im already stressed enough and feeling sick on top of it doesnt help. I dont have insurance and at this point Im broke! Any suggestions of what I should do from home?
Answer:
MY FRIEND HAD THE SAME PR0BLEM . SHEWAS SICK F0R LIKE THREE M0NTHS I THINK Y0U SH0ULD G0 T0 THE D0CT0R 0 N MY FRIEND.. SHE JUS KEPT GETTING MEDICINE N IT NEVER W0RKED AFTER LIKE THREE M0NTHS IT JUS ST0PPED SHE NEVER WENT T0 THE D0CT0E S0 TRUST ME N G0 T0 THE DOC. IS THE BEST THING U CAN D000.
Your mind is overloaded with a strange feeling.Meditate for 30 minutes.Take long walk early morning.
STRESS! It will blow your immune system away. You need to relax..This junk is going around.Maybe with the big life changes you are facing you are not getting enough rest and your body is worn out...Take a day and just relax.Lay on the couch, watch T.V.dONT ANSWER THE PHONE JUST REST A DAY.
You really should go to a doctor and see if some sort of payment plan can be worked out (you'll want to work out the details of that ahead of time, before you see the doctor). You may very well be suffering from allergies or something that a course of antibiotics may get rid of in no time. And too, with an upcoming wedding, the extra added stress may be prolonging your illness. Do the usual - plenty of fluids, plenty of vit. C and zinc, plenty of rest, etc.
well, I know what you mean, I have had the same problem this year. my best guess is that you have some sort of virus. you could be catching it over and over again? anyway, mine finally went away. Drink lots of orange juice and if you can, take some vitamin supplements. It had never happened to me before either, so I know how you feel.
Try this. Hot shower with one of those Vicks Vapor Rub shower soothers. If you can't afford to buy those just get a jar of Vicks Vapor Rub, it's cheap. Put a little into some kind of container and put in shower with you. At night, only when ready for bed and can cover up rub on chest and put on white-only white-t-shirt, but not anything made of flannel. Plain cotton would be best. Hope this helps you. I've used this for my kids(all grown now)and myself for many years.
i have the same thing. i finally went to the doc and he prescribed an inhaler. he said that i had coughed and blown my nose so much that i had basically over stressed my innards, and the inhaler is to reduce the inflammation, so the coughs could be productive in getting rid of the bad stuff. i thought he was nuts, but tried it, dam, it worked...so, i also kept up my vitamins, vit c and drank more water, it is not all gone yet, will be a week tomorrow, but it is 95% gone...who would have thought....
best of luck, feel better..the meditation idea is good too, as i am sure you are under lots of stress..
ok, sweetie, you need to think FOOD ALLERGY. Read more about it on my blog if you like http://360.yahoo.com/profile-8un2kqu5fqc... Inflamed cartilage is NOT NORMAL in young women. Undiagnosed allergy is the root of many unexplained illness.

Baygon!!!!!!?

I have 2 questions:

1)My father sprayed baygon in our kitchen, does the poison wear off by 9 hours?

2) he also sprayed baygon in my room, but its just a small amount and away from my bed. and i cant go anywhere outside cpz its like 10 pm here
Answer:
open your window and get some fresh air in the room. and don't breath it in. Use a mask. sleep on the couch. I'm sure if you read the label you will see a list of chemicals in it.
It has been widely debated whether or not insecticides are hazardous to human health. I am certainly not an expert but I would avoid it if possible. If you see the effect it has on an insect you wouldn't want it tocome into contact with your nervous system - just in case! The toxins can apparently be removed by thorough washing of the area sprayed. I would also ventilate the room. Of course insects also spread disease.
The following site may be helpful:
http://www.mouthshut.com/review/baygon_s...
here are some excerpts:
芦芦 DISADVANTAGES 禄禄(of Baygon)
While I admit that it is highly effective, we have switched over to mats/coils/liquidator options. Why?
Firstly, because it is highly poisonous and however much you take care you don鈥檛 know when and how you may land spraying it on foodstuffs and the risk is way too high if you have babies/kids in the house.
Secondly, the spray will ultimately settle on the ground and make your floor look oily calling for further floor cleaning. This is again also related to the first point as ultimately the floors, walls or any region that you spray the liquid, it forms a poisonous layer on it - dangerous isn鈥檛 it?
It can cause headache, giddiness, nausea, vomitting, lacrimation, salivation, diarrhoea. Now I am sure I have hammered the nail right in.

芦芦 OVERALL 禄禄
While it鈥檚 disadvantages weigh much more than the benefits and I don鈥檛 recommend it for mosquitoes, I can鈥檛 but help saying that it is the best solution when it is cockroaches you are targeting. I leave the recommendation to your judgement.
Baygon is great stuff, but it's not good for you. Stay out of the room at least until you can't smell it any more.

Bathroom troubles?

OK i can't believe I'm doing this so I'll be very very blunt and no its not funny in any way shape or form.

alright for the past four months i have had a bad case of diarrhea bills are tight so I'm trying to push it off but i can no longer ignore haveing to go to the bathroom every other day.

my diet mainly consits of what i find around the house usualy junk and somewhat heathly like penutbutter and jelly sandwitches or raman.

also i just want to inform this also but my family has very sensitive stomaches its unlikely for me to get it but i could.

so can you help me solve this problem i can't spend hours getting up to go take a lavoratory break and then go back to bed.

also i have no stds because im a virgin help.
Answer:
you should try staying away from dairy products for week. If your diarrhea disappers or slows then your body probably can't tollerate dairy. So this means no more ice cream and no more chocolate. But, if your like me, you could try eating non fat dairy products like skim milk. You should be able to eat cheese and maybe even frozen. But stating away from dairy products just might help.
plain and simple you are eating unhealthy. compeletly.. you need more protein fiber and vegetables .... go to your doctor and talk to him about seeing a nutritionist ... and stop eating junk and replace it with carrots or a more healthy alternative...
I agree, get help from a nutritionist. Veggies can be cheap both frozen and raw. Also,on a more important note: This is something you *really* should be bringing up to your health care provider so as to rule out any serious gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS,Chron's Disease,or even polyps. It's a general rule that if one has symptoms that do not disappear within two weeks to seek treatment. In the meantime call your doctor, tell them what is going on and you should be able to get something for it via prescription. If you decide to take an anti -diarrheal, please read the instructions carefully, and keep an eye on your movements.
Better safe than sorry. Hope it goes well :)
This is strange. You think you've got the runs when you only use the bathroom every other day? How often do you usually go? If I don't go at least once a day I think there is something wrong.

But you should try to eat more healthily.

Barefoot in the Summer?

I grew up in the country and as kids we always used to walk around barefoot. I'm going back there for the summer, how long will it take to get the soles of my feet tough enough so that I can comfortably walk on ashphalt or gravel?
Answer:
After a long winter, I also love going barefoot in the summer. It usually takes me about a month of barefooting around my yard and on the street outside my house before my soles are conditioned enough to really enjoy not wearing shoes outside.

You should definitely not wear shoes around your house. You should also take small barefoot walks around your neighborhood on warm days. Start walking on smooth pavement, then sidewalks, and then finally streets. If you can go 1/2 mile with relative comfort, you should be ready for your trip to the country in the summer.

Sounds like it will be a great trip. Summer is made for going barefoot!
I'm not sure how long it will take, but if you want to toughen up your feet, why not try walking barefoot on something sturdy, like rocks or something. Practice it out a little.
I am not sure, but the sooner u start the better the results will be. and try walking on harder floors or when it gets warmer walk outside barefoot. it won't hurt to practice
It depends on your age I think. I still live in the country and my feet seem to be getting more tender instead of rougher and tougher.
Since I live in the southern part of the US, we get a good opportunity to go barefoot all year round. We may have a stretch of a week or two, several times during the winter when it gets really cold, but usually there are a few days when it warms up enough to get out barefoot. Because of that, I'm not sure I give my feet much of a chance to lose their toughness. Obviously it's not like going barefoot in July, but it's something.

My guess would be a couple of week, if that long, depending on much you challenge yourself. Start going barefoot everywhere you can. The mix of different surfaces you walk on will help your feet adapt.

Keep 'em BARE!

Barefoot Tex
I never did that, but I would just wear my sandals all summer, and not wear any closed shoes.
I go bf'n year round pretty much, so mine never un-toughen. You should check out the barefoot parks in Europe, built for the tactile experience - they're fun!

Bad posture?

I didnt know that bad posture can cause headaches. I knew it could cause back and neck pain, but i had no idea about the headaches.... Anyway. I just felt like talkin, so there we go.
Answer:
I never knew that either! Thanks for the information....that might explain why I get headaches a lot. I'm always at the computer desk on the computer or studying hunched over books. I always thought it was the studying that gave me a headache. I learn something new every day. Thanks again!
Bad posture causes misalignment within the body. Organs and the skeletal structure are affected. Yep, bad posture causes a lot of problems.

Bad headache?

Today I've had a horrible headache around the front of my head like the forehead, and I feel kinda sick. what's the deal? I accidentally ran into the wall around 6 because I wasn't looking where I was going, but that couldn't cause it, could it?
Answer:
bottom line is that your body giving you distress signals....could be a lot of things....rest your body..drink water and hydrate yourself...get some sleep...take a walk...slow yourself down...
yeah that'll do it. Get off the computer get a warm rag and place on your forehead and take an asprin.
It could be from lack of sleep, not enough blood is reaching your brain or you may have a fever. If you ran into a wall hard enough at the age of 6, it could have left an internal scar that takes a few years to heal.
Did you have the headache before you hit the wall?
If so it could be your sinus put a warm wet towel w/ a heating pad over your forhead and eyes and it will take alot of the pressure off.
Or somepeople swear by excedrin migrain
its probably because u watch a lot of tv or use computer too much. u might also have had headache because u bumped in to the wall.
try to put some ice in ur head. if it doesnot work, try to catch some sleep.
get better.
That could have caused it have your ears checked your equalibrium may be off. If you are on birth control pills maybe the dose is to high for you or you can have your vision checked and last I would see a ear nose and throat specialist....I have dealt with headaches and I have great relief with Excedrine migraine...just be careful 2 tabs give you energy b/c they contain
caffeine, Aspirin,and acetaminophen. Good luck
As we are not certain what caused the headache, it is best to seek professional care. Your doctor may tell you it is a sinus headache and be able to provide you with medicine should you have a sinus infection. If the headache is from something else, your doctor can best answer that and what care you should receive. A horrible headache should always be checked by a doctor to rule out any concerns.
Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

Bacteria question. Should I wash my hands first then my face...?

Or my face first then my hands. Or my hands first, my face then my hands again?
Answer:
LOL...good one. I always wash my HANDS first, then my face.
It's like the old housework question: Dust first, THEN vaccuum? Or the other way around?
Hands, face, thats it.
Hands, face, hands.
You should wash your hand to get the bacteria off. then wash you face. if you do the opposite, u will will touch ur face with dirty hands
Hands first, how else.
I am not sure how you can wash your face without getting your hands wet. Yes obviously wash your hands first so that they are clean before touching your face. If you wish wash your hands again last. You cant really overdo the washing.
Hands first before you touch your face.
I have to wash hands, then face, then hands again. I wouldnt feel right if I didnt do it that way. lol. I always wash twice each time. lol. quirky little habbits I guess.
better still dont wash at all.

Back to Back Shittings?

Is it normal to take a dump and then 3 hours later take an equally normal sized dump? Does it mean somethings wrong with my system? Because I went 2 or 3 days without crapping and then twice in less than 4 hours... what does that mean?
Answer:
haha max hounddd funnie... um you just ate alot man
It means that you are full of crap
If you didnt take a dump for 3 days...then THATS not normal. Its hardly surprising that when you finally went, you went twice in quick succession.

Its the fact of being not being able to take a dump for so long that you need to worry about, but dumping twice in 4 hours wont do you any harm at all. Are you eating properly? Getting enough fibre?Or just eating crap all he time? All the stored -up waste product in your system will do you no good over a long time, you need to get rid off it at least once a day.

Back pain: chiropractor, massage therapist or physical therapist?

I've been having mild to moderate upper-mid back and shoulder pain, on and off, for at least a few years. My neck often aches as well. I'm a 25 year old student who spends a lot of time sitting in front of a computer. I know my posture could be better, but it's difficult to maintain when sitting in front of a laptop. So my question is, do you think I should see a chiropractor, massage therapist, or physical therapist about this? I feel like my muscles are almost always very tight, but I have had a bit of shooting pain in my upper-mid back and some mild tingling down my arms (rarely). I would like to hear from people who visited any of these specialists. Thanks!
Answer:
Hi Illumina,
This is a question that's very near to me as I've had back pain for many years and have been through all the methods you've mentioned. I've gone through back surgery as well. It's not fun in any sense of the word.

The first thing I would say here is go to your general physician first to be examined to find out what the root cause is and what damage may have actually occurred. Getting advice from a place like this is not in your best interest.

That being said:

If you're experiencing tingling of any sort this could be a pinched nerve or a lack of circulation. Neural damage can be a VERY serious issue! Chiropractic services may help but isn't a guarantee as some chiropractors use quite different methods and each person has different results. Some find chiropractic methods to be useless. My experience has been about fifty-fifty. Now I'm in a place where a chiropractor really can't offer me much help. Your response to this type of therapy may end up to be a disappointment. Get a checkup first and get a referral.

Although a massage therapist may help to relieve some of this discomfort and pain in the short term there may be more complex muscular or neural issues here and a massage therapist (even to the point of shiatzu or deep massage) might not be able to truly "repair" the situation. This may end up delaying the inevitable visit to a specialist after all is said and done.

A massage sure feels good though when you've got tight muscles! :)

After surgery and seeing my primary care physician I've now found that physical therapy is the best for my case (which is really all the opinion I can give after all- my personal experience) and may be so for you in the long run. Physical therapy is not just the about the therapy you receive on the table when they use their "machines" on you to relieve the pain (i.e. laser, electro stimulation to increase circulation, ultrasonic heat, etc.) you are also taught to begin certain beneficial exercises that will help to repair your range of motion and restore some of the muscularity, through exercise, that will restore your health for the long term. This long-term fitness is more beneficial IMHO as your learn to change your lifestyle toward a more aware state of health. Staying fit and active is always more beneficial overall for continued well being in any event. The specially-focused exercises that they will teach you will aid in recovery as well as keeping you stronger and able to fend off potential injury in the future. It just takes work on your part and continued will power to keep it going on your own time.

That takes care of my opinion on the therapies you've mentioned but there is another as well. Once you've had your visit to the doctor he may also refer you to a pain clinic. This is a clinic that may start specific drug therapies to relieve your pain through anti-inflamatories, pain killers and other potential methods. This is usually a more serious approach though as such a referral might indicate serious and long-term injury that may only allow you to be "pain-free" through a regimen of rather drastic medications to give you relief. Sometimes this is the best way to gain relief so that you can begin to heal yourself and gain the "upper hand" enough to begin changing your "practices" toward a less damaging posture or allow you to be free to start beneficial exercises and begin recovery.

What it really boils down to is the fact that you need to see your primary doctor and tell him/her what your experiencing and he/she will examine and recommend a course of therapy from that point. As I said this forum is probably not the best place to ask for answers. Where the spine and vertebrae are involved there can be very serious consequences to the nature of how to proceed without potentially increasing your pain and/or possibly damaging yourself even further.

You also mentioned that you spend a lot of time in front of the computer. I found this to be rather painful myself so I bought a lapdesk (try doing a search using the word "lapdesk" to get an idea of what is available out there- they don't have to be very expensive unless you want a "top of the line" model) that allows me to sit back in a chair more comfortably with the keyboard directly on my lap and a pillow under it for support. There are also more ergonomic keyboards out there that may alleviate some of the stress on your wrists and arms in the short term (I'm betting you're probably aware of some or all of this already).

But if you have injured yourself (I know I'm repeating myself but I think this is the most important point to get across here) you NEED to see a physician and tell him/her what you're experiencing.

A chiropractor may help but you should be referred to one by your doctor, A physical therapist may help even more but, again, a doctor should give you a referral in the outset- after examination and diagnosis.

A masseuse may give you relief from minor discomfort and will certainly feel good (like going to a spa for the day might) but if you have some serious damage a massage can only do so much if you have injured yourself.

After so many years of dealing with this I truly hope that what you're experience is minor and easily restored. I wouldn't want you to go through what I have in any event. I'll never be "pain-free" and have had to learn to live with the pain and damage that has happened to me. It can be rather exhausting at times and I hope you don't have to learn about long term injury

Best of luck!

PS: Go see your doctor (did I mention that? lol) Go see your doctor. ;)
Chiropractor for the back and a massage therapist for the tight muscles.
See a chiropractor and start exercising regularly, particularly your core muscles which will help to support your abs and back so that any adjustments that the chiropractor makes will be held onto by your body. Massage will help to relax the muscles but will be very temporary. A physical therapist will not likely be able to help unless you have a particular injury that is casuing the pain-doesn't sound like it though. Sounds like you suffer from common back pain caused by sitting at the computer for long periods of time.
Chiropractor or massage therapist. If you happen to be lucky enough to find a chiro in your area that specializes in a type of upper cervical chiropractics called NUCCA, go see them - they are excellent.
It would probably benefit you to see both a chiropractor and a massage therapist, though chiropractor's usually do some form of massage and heat therapy before they actually manipulate the spine. I think you would get the most relief from the chiropractic visit. I always feel better when I visit mine!

Good luck and I hope this helps.
BUDDY,
YOU NEED TO SEE A MASAGE THERAPIST.DONT MESS WITH CHIROS.ETC....YOU SIT LOTS SO YOU WILL GET MUSTLE STRAIN AND TIE UPS.I SUGGEST THAT BEFORE YOU SIT FOR LONG PERIODS,YOU DO SOME STRECHING EXERCISES..IT HELPS BELIEVE ME.ALSO TRY TO SIT "PROPER".
TRY NOT TO SIT WITH YOUR HEAD IN A "LEANED FORWARD" POSITION.IT THROWS OUT ALL YOUR UPPER BACK MUSCLES...SOUNDS LIKE YOUR PROBLEM DOESNT IT?.......HOPE IT HELPS

I've had almost the same symptoms you mentioned, including muscle stiffness on my shoulders, that i used to ignore until came the time that lying down flat on my back was already difficult to do. I tried different pain killers and nothing worked. I went to see a neurologist who advised me to get an MRI. The MRI showed that I have cervical spondylosis, a slipped-disc in the neck. The disc that slipped was already touching my spinal cord, thus, causing the pain. After which, I underwent physical therapy for pain management. My answer to your question: With the symptoms you got like I had, and you don't think you have any bone fracture or injury, I would advise you to see a neurologist first. A neurologist will do some tests to find out and figure out if the pain is related to the nervous system. From there, he could probably refer you to someone he knows who can help you. It is best and important to identify the cause of pain to get the appropriate treatment. Btw, I'm a 40 yo working-mother.
If your pain is due to nutrition deficiency, I would recommend a supplement marketed thru MLM. You can write me at jade_flowershop@yahoo.com about it.

I used to suffer numbness and pain in half of my body and extreme pain in my feet. I went for therapy 6 months and was given medication but did not get results. With the use of the supplement a friend introduced me to, the numbness and pain disappeared in 30 days.
Back pain had many many cause, usually it is located between the L4 L5 vertebra, but it really depends on age, what you were doing and if you have a history of osteoarthritis or calcium deficiency in your family. If you doctor is not giving you answers you need to see a specialist. I don't recommend a chiropractor if the cause is NOT muscular.
It is better for the doctor to decide. Here is a simple remedy until you see your doctor.Massaging the back muscles will reduce the pain.Apply an icepack to the affected area. This will make the area numb and reduce the pain. More details and remedies at http://aches.in/backpainremedies.html...
